Watch the SSCA 2.4 Hours of Spa(By www.Radicalsonline.com) Circuit de Spa Fracorchamps was again the venue for another thrilling endurance race. This time hosted by the SSCA. The Corvette C6R being run with the Radical SR8 in a 2.4 hour race around this iconic track. Qualify proved to be key for the start of this race and our very own Blake Townend put in a stunning lap to take the pole position with some very notable talent just behind.

The Corvette's had the top line speed but needed to brake much earlier in to the tighter turns combined with a much longer pit stop and smaller fuel tank than the SR8. However, it proved a little too much for the SR8 in the overall race but a great battle within the individual classes.

Wednesday, January 19, 2011 Paquin Drinks the Milk at Indy in the 16th Street Indy 250 by Matt Thomas : 927 Views

Watch the 16th Street Indy 250 On-Demand(By Brian Simpson) Every season in the 16th Street Racing League we finish at the greatest race track in the world, The Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  I decided to make this our championship round because Indy is without a doubt the most difficult track we race around.  Turns 1 and 3 are completely different from each other.  Passing is difficult and at times a bit scary in the corners.  The closing speed here can really catch you off guard.  Speaking of speed, that’s what it’s all about here.  Drivers spend months working on setups for Indy, not just for the 16th Street Racing League, but for general Indy races on iRacing as well.

The race would come down to the closing laps, and the Championship was almost in jeopardy on the final lap. Some more great racing at the Indinanpolis motor speedway with breakneck speeds every lap. Congratulations to John paquin on taking the victory at the yard of bricks.
